We are a part of nature but we are also able to look at it from a distance. During the romantic era nature was depicted as majestically sublime but was at the same time increasingly controlled by humans through industrial revolution. I’m interested in how we depict nature. What is the equivalent of landscape paintings in our time?
In the form of an abstract video with a fragmented narrative I have digitally distorted nature films and explored animation techniques in relation to how modern life is out of balance with nature.
