Ultima Thule is a science fiction world in comic form, created to map out the final stage of humanity. The comic books are parts of an unfinished whole and establish the starting point of a continuous worldbuilding where there are possibilities for other creators to join the work process, for example script writing, drawing the comic, making covers, soundtrack, graphic design and more.
The first and last comic books are tightly connected through a journey in time and create a locked loop in the narrative.
The starting point is the demise of the contemporary human and the conclusion is the transcendence of the humanity of the future.
I want to associate to the mythical and the foundational storytelling that has existed since prehistory. This is my contribution to one of the most popular myths, the one about the end of the world.
Ultima Thule är en science fiction-värld i serieform, skapad för att kartlägga mänsklighetens slutskede. Serietidningarna är delar av en ofärdig helhet och lanserar startpunkten för ett fortlöpande världsbyggande där även andra skapare kan delta i arbetsprocessen, till exempel genom manusskrivande, teckning av serien, göra omslag, soundtrack, grafisk design med mera.
Den sista och första serietidningen är tätt sammankopplade genom en tidsresa och skapar en fastlåst narrativ loop.
Utgångspunkten är den nutida människans undergång och slutsatsen är den framtida människans transcendens.
Jag vill associera till det mytiska och grundläggande historieberättandet som existerat sen människans urtid. Det här är mitt bidrag till en av de mest populära myterna, den om världens undergång.
