Master / CRAFT! Ceramics and Glass
A self-portrait. With an auto-ethnographic study method and my own craft of glass making, I examine tacit knowledge. A portrait not only of me, but also the human in need of control. An invitation to look at our society and see how the measurable is in charge and positivist science has the leading position in knowledge production. I aim for the subjective, the knowledge stored in my body which is passed on through making, into the glass to be kept.
Ett självporträtt. Med en autoetnografisk metod och mitt hantverk glasblåsning, har jag undersökt tyst kunskap. Ett porträtt inte bara av mig själv utan även det mänskliga behovet av kontroll. En inblick i vårt samhälle som styrs av det mätbara, och positivistisk vetenskap har en ledande position inom kunskapsproduktion. Jag strävar efter det subjektiva, kunskaper lagrade i min kropp som är överförda genom görande in i glaset, för att där förvaras.
